The trailer for Zee5's upcoming series Dhoop Ki Deewar is out and people are excited to see their favourite couple #Sahad share the screen once again.

Written by Umera Ahmed and helmed by Haseeb Hasan, the series tells the tale of love, family and loss. Though it is being touted as a cross-border romance, the series is about far more than that.

Vishal (Ahad Raza Mir) and Sara (Sajal Aly) find their lives interconnected when they lose their fathers to war and their common grief becomes the foundation of their friendship, much to the dismay of their families.

They shared stories of war, pain and familiarity and melted the hearts of people who watched the trailer. Fans are already excited and can't wait for the series to air.

Dhoop Ki Deewar tells us that no soldier should die on either side of the border and that humanity should not be restricted by political boundaries.

The show provides an introspective take on the aftermath of war between two countries and how families who lost their loved ones to war are united in grief beyond geographical and political borders and we can't wait to see what's next. The series premieres on June 25.

Thanks... but mainly no thanks... there can be no comparison of an occupation force that blinds Kashmiri kids with pellet guns, rapes Kashmiri women, imprisons, tortures and kills Kashmiris, all with impunity, to our soldiers who defend the LOC and innocent Kashmiri civilians from Indian army bombardment and attacks on them. Simply no comparison whatsoever. Whoever cooked up this horrific idea needs their head checked.

Indians keep nursing their hurt egos by such propaganda stuff. In reality, they have forced laws to stop adult Hindu girls marrying Muslims by choice.

Just to calm Indians. Indian girls keep marrying Pak cricketers. Also, Indian govt has forced laws to stop growing trend of adult Hindu girls accepting Islam and marrying Muslims.

Umera and Haseeb embrace the Indian money-minting mantra "art has no boundaries". Amazing what a few coins can do.

@Akib Mahmood the drama is about a human situation. And can happen anywhere, with anyone. Every human being is not an embodiment of political and religious hatred. Some hearts beat.

The story line is too realistic. Loss, pain n misery on both sides if the war takes place between two countries. Love not the hatred is the solution to the so called anmosities

@hyra Absolutely. The discriminatory prejudices biased laws such as CAA, and ‘love Jehad’ are inventions of Modi team. But now fully exposed, they are failing each day. Hindutva is just a fake title to secure votes, get power, and loot the poor people of India. The people of India will never forget the deaths of their loved ones, due to mismanagement in oxygen supplies, and rude behavior of Modi Administration.

@Neerja Batta I would like to respectfully disagree. The solution is neither love nor hate. The solution is justice.
