Actor Sarah Khan hospitalised for typhoid

"She is unwell," husband Falak Shabir announced on social media.
Updated 15 Apr, 2021

Actor Sarah Khan has been hospitalised due to ill health.

Her husband, singer Falak Shabir, took to social media to share the unfortunate news with fans and followers.

"She is unwell," he wrote and posted a picture of his unconscious wife on a hospital bed on his Instagram Story. It is unclear where the stars are, as they have until recently been posting pictures from a trip to Turkey.

The Raqs-e-Bismil actor's manager revealed to The Current that the star was suffering from typhoid — a bacterial infection that can lead to a high fever, diarrhea, and vomiting — and can be passed on through contaminated food and drinking water.

The Saajna singer had previously revealed how the duo met at the 2019 Hum TV Bridal Couture Week where Khan was a showstopper, and he had proposed to her after their second meeting. Luckily, everything worked out for the best. The families met over the course of six months and the rest is history.

Wishing Khan a speedy recovery.

Lack of hygiene, contaminating drinks, are primary cause of typhoid. Take care .

I like your cheeky acting. Saddened at your suspected Typhoid Fever. It is Bacterial, caused by Samollena and could be cured by antibiotics. Try Cyproxing 500 mm full course (Consult your Doctor) Watch source of drinking water, consumption of left over food from one day to another. A glass of daily smoothie of berries,Walnut and almonds, fresh food with plenty of fruit will get you back you to normal Good luck and quick recovery

Typhoid fever is caused by Salmonella typhi bacteria. Typhoid fever is rare in developed countries. It is still a serious health threat in the developing world, especially for children.Contaminated food and water or close contact with an infected person cause typhoid fever.
