Eman Suleman, model, actor and great grandmother? While she might not be old enough to be a grandmother yet, she has become the Pakistani internet's fake great grandmother from the 1940s and is giving us quite a few laughs.

Suleman recently posted pictures on her Instagram account from a photoshoot for Étoile Brilliante.

The pictures, meant to look yellowed with age, were posted with the caption "Isko koi Puranay Pakistan mein utha kar phaink day, please Someone please throw this back to old Pakistan, please".

Well, ask and ye shall receive, Eman Suleman. User ShutupShehry turned her into their great grandmother from the 1940s on Twitter.

A lot of people were fooled by the joke.

But then the sweetest thing happened.

A Saudi man who restores old photos restored the picture of Suleman and no one wanted to tell him it was a joke.

Eventually, though, he caught on.

But that doesn't detract from how nice it was of him! It also gave the jaded internet a few laughs and made them go aww.

In fact, a lot of people had jokes about ShutupShehry's "grandmother".

The resemblance is uncanny, almost as if she was his sister.

His grandmother is famous!

And still roaming the halls.

Suleman shared it too!

For those of you who didn't get it, the joke is a Twitter trend where you post a black and white or sepia photo of a someone (often a celebrity) and pretend it's your grandparent. Here are some funny examples:

This guy's grandmother went to Hogwarts.

What beautiful grandparents. They look like movie stars.

They look so happy! But you know what they say, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...

This looks like a couple who know how to get away with murder.

The internet never fails to make us laugh and we give it 10/10 for this joke.

@Browngirl, she certainly would mint money in the West that is if she is willing to take the plunge, she seems bold enough to do so. She is handicapped in Pakistan.

Or do you mean the elite love her? The rich and educated? A fringe?

@Browngirl true. I think there is something very striking about her. She is statuesque and the fabric real models are made of. She almost reminds me of Yasmine Sima.

@Shaan fringe? I mean I am neither rich, elite or such but I like her. She is the closest thing I have seen to an actual fashion model. Like a real model. I guess you don't follow or like fashion much. I don't follow it religiously and definitely don't (can't afford) the fashion magazines like Vogue but thanks to the internet it has become more accessible to find what interests you and know more. Knowledge, and appreciation of arts is not only for the rich or the elite.
