'Impeach him twice!': Celebrities on Trump's historical impeachment days before leaving office

Resolution holds Trump responsible for Jan 6 mob attack on the Capitol building that led to the death of at least five people.
Updated 14 Jan, 2021

American history was made as Donald Trump became the only US president to be impeached twice.

The US House of Representatives impeached Trump on Wednesday and sent its impeachment resolution to the Senate to convict him.

The resolution holds Trump responsible for the January 6 mob attack on the Capitol building that led to the death of at least five people and desecrated the temple of American democracy.

Trump is good at evoking reactions from celebs for the most menial of his moves and this was too major for them not to react.

Chrissy Tegan was confused like the rest of us

Stevie Wonder was heartbroken

Actor Jon Cryer was just done

While Cardi B was singing I told you so

Impeachment is the easy part. Eventual trial and conviction may be an uphill battle. Over the next 100 days after the Biden Admin has settlted in, the Senate Trial could be a rude awakening for us. There is plenty of time for many congressmen/women and Senators to change their mind or fail to accept the evidence. So don't bet on him being convicted, unti it actually happens.

Thanks to 10 Republicans and all Democrats for upholding democracy as sacrosanct. DT wants to be first, so he did become first to be impeached twice.

Who cares about the opinions of entitled rich actors? Many have limited schooling and live in a bubble that little to do with the everyday lives of the rest of us. It's a liberal "rich mans" club.

Impeachment or no impeachment Pr. Trump does not care, but he had achieved what he wanted, a clear cut American Nation feeling to sweep across America. To my feeling the days of Open Border Democracy had died it’s death. Only the Big cities may still be democratic for high immigrant population. Let’s see.

The man has no shame. He wanted to win the election for a second term. He asked Georgia Secretary of state to find more votes for him.
