Kriti Sanon shares she's got Covid-19
Just because you're over the pandemic, doesn't mean it's actually over!
Actor Kriti Sanon known for her lively roles and making her mark in Bollywood despite being an industry outsider, just revealed having tested positive for coronavirus. In an Instagram post that garnered over 551k likes, she revealed details for her fans and followers.
"I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for Covid-19. There's absolutely nothing to worry as I am feeling fine and have quarantined myself as per BMC and my doctor's advice," she posted.
Feeling hopeful, Sanon shared she's "ride this tide, rest it out and resume work soon. Till then, I am reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working."
"Be safe guys, the pandemic hasn't gone yet," she cautioned her followers.
The Luka Chuppi actor recently returned home after wrapping the shoot of her upcoming project in Chandigarh where she was shooting alongside Rajkummar Rao.
However, Kriti is just one name in the long list of stars that have contracted the novel virus. Recently, Raj Mehta’s directorial, Jug Jug Jeeyo had to stop production due to him, and actors Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor testing positive for the novel virus.
Previously, the Bachchan clan including Amitabh, Aishwarya, Abhishek and their daughter Aradhya were infected by the virus too, having been hospitalised with mild symptoms.
Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor were other popular names who tested positive in the past.
