Extremely sad event. It’s point to ponder how & why a prosperous happy young guy like Sushant Singh prefer to die. Obviously the reasons could be mental disorder, acute depression, or rejection by someone who loves. It’s the job of police to investigate and let the people know the causes of this suicide.

This actor was a brilliant students during his academic days. He got 7th all India rank in All India engineering exams where around 10 lacs students participates. Then he got very good position in prestigious ISM Dhandabd also. Very good actor...creative to the core...excellent students...gone too early... RIP...

A big loss for the Indian film Industry. I first saw him in an Indian drama serial "Pavitra Rishta" and was least impressed by his acting skills which seemed very mediocre. At times I could barely understand what he was saying as he mumbled the words in his mouth and no one except him would know what he said but then as the years went by he kept improving by leaps and bounds and was sure to become a big name in the coming years. To be honest he was a better dancer than an actor and won many awards for his dancing talent.

I don't know of him but I am saddened that he took his life for whatever reason. It's not right for anybody to feel so helpless or sad that this becomes the only option. Depression is a silent assassin. It comes without warning. RIP.

Men suffer silently from depression and other mental health issues but because of cultural bias they aren’t able to speak up. It’s time that men are de-shamed for being humans, especially in the Indian subcontinent.

He was a brilliant student who came in 17th in the All-India Engineering Entrance exam. That made him an elite performer. He finished his Mechanical Engineering and chose acting as his profession. Sushant did very well considering that he had no kin in the film industry but his career did not take off. His recent social media posts betrayed his emotional mental state. Just sad all around.

It reflects the wider issue of mental illness and loneliness that has become quite common these days. It requires attention from the government and opinion leaders for awareness and remedial measures.
