Zahid Ahmed, Mansha Pasha and Sonya Hussyn are teaming up for a drama.

According to the team, Muhabbat Tujhe Alvida navigates through the circumstances of three main characters experiencing greed, love and life.

"It's a very fast paced story of a loving couple, Shahaan and Ulfat, played by Sonya and I," revealed Zahid Ahmed in a conversation with Images.

"They belong from the lower class, are excessively involved in each other's love and enjoy life's little joys without letting money affect their circumstances. However, when one of them gets affected by greed, that's how the story unfolds."

Ahmed also says his character will be of a very positive, loving, supportive husband.

"Usually the audience doesn't associate such characters with me. My characters always have a twist in them. But this time the story has a twist instead and my character is pure and positive."

"The story is of the masses," he added. "It has innumerable instances that the audience will be able to relate to. The simplicities, the little wants, little desires - they will be able to enjoy and relate to these very simple yet very loving characters."

Mansha Pasha describes the drama - written by Abdul Khaliq Khan - to be a "love triangle been the three main characters." She also says it will be an easy watch during such a difficult time, as it's also beautifully shot.

"My character is actually someone who has been through trauma and doesn't really know how to deal with it," said Pasha.

"She makes some bad decisions because she wants a quick fix which is what a lot of people do, and it makes it worse for them in the long run. She is a good person, just broken."

The Laal Kabootar star also gave a special shoutout to the cameraman and DP, who she said have done a "tremendous job."

Directed by Barkat Sidiki and co-produced with Zayed Sheikh, Muhabbat Tujhe Alvida will be aired this month.

@Zaira exactly!! I have watched very few bollywood movies in my life but i knew the ones I did watch. And this drama is a copy of an old 80s film, I believe. So yeah expect a poor couple where the wife values money over her husbands love and willingness to allow a rich rival into their lives and then realizing too late money has no value compared to her husband. Well done. So now we are just straight up copying bollywood into our dramas??
