If you're not going to listen to experts, at least listen to Shehzad Roy?

While the coronavirus pandemic is getting worse by the day, it doesn't seem like Pakistanis are taking the advice of social distancing very seriously.

The former singer took to his Instagram to talk reason.

"I got the opportunity today to go to CM House, Sindh and meet the task force assigned to deal with coronavirus. I was very happy to see how serious the government is and it really is a serious situation," he said.

"I just want to make a request everyone, if someone wants to shake your hand, don't do it, even if they feel insulted. Don't congregate, for weddings or religious reasons. On my way, I could see that everyone was at Sea View beach like it's New Year's or a holiday, people were celebrating. We need to behave like ashraful makhlookat (noblest of all creations), this is a very dangerous situation. We don't want to panic but we also need to save each other; we don't want things to get so bad that we need to go on lockdown."

He concluded: "Lets practice social distancing and try to infect the least number of people; don't leave the house unnecessarily."

Agreed! I hate shaking hands with people. Just from a hygiene perspective as not everybody observes simple things like washing their hands after doing their business in the bathroom, or sanitizing them when out and about. Always keep an anti bacterial hand gel or spray in your pocket, purse etc. Tissues too. I rarely handles in public. Do I get weird looks when almost falling or expecting the door to magically open? Sure. Do I care? Not so much. Because I feel I am right in this. Imagine how many people have Hepatitis and etc. Lack of sanitation is still an issue. So just do what you can to keep safe. Things would be so much easier if I was queen. Bah!
