The Simpsons did it again!

The comedy show has had many moments where it seemed to predict the future; from Donald Trump becoming president, Disney buying Fox and even the Ebola virus outbreak. And now it adds yet another .

Fans have started pointing out that an 1993 episode - as in 27 years ago... feel old yet? - showed the city of Springfield dealing with the 'Osaka Flu' and it looks way too familiar.

How do they do this?

There is a 2011 film named Contagion - that too has striking similarities to what is going on with Wuhan virus. They did not predict this, it's a scifi film which happens to have struck on a potential of contracting viral infection from wildlife. There are many other themes on which there are many other episodes of Simpsons, you don't see people raving about those...
