Ali Gul Pir just dropped a diss track and it's savage

The song's titled ‘Karle Jo Karna Hai’ but he also calls it 'Channo Ki Maut'.
Updated 27 Nov, 2019

After his spoken word piece for children who've seen their parents go through divorce, Ali Gul Pir has released a new rap which lets everyone know he will not be silenced.

‘Karle Jo Karna Hai’ is a diss track which comes with a video shot in Lyari and lyrics very pointed.

With lyrics like "Chup nahi baithunga, sab kuch mai keh dunga... kar le jo karna hai," the rapper is letting it be known that nothing will stop his freedom of expression and that includes some very specific lyrics about a legal notice that won't stop him from sharing his point of view.

He also says "I love you a lot, I’m calling this song Channo Ki Maut.” So yeah, that happened.

In a statement released in August, the rapper wrote, “In Pakistan, some people have so much power that they try to silence you if you don't agree with them."

He had also said, “This is a classic case of those with influence trying to suppress dissent.”

That is exactly the message which the song echoes and people cannot get enough of the track.

Big props to the dancing talent of Mehar Bano, Anoushay Abbasi, Bhuran Ali, Irfan Ali and Alina Zuberi who all featured in the video.

I for one do not like this at all. Are we really going to streamline this vulgarity? Thanks but no thanks!

"Ali Gul Pir just dropped a diss track and it's savage" Dawn, seriously, please stop with the millennial American instagram language. It's getting harder and harder to swallow.

Can you do a piece on the dancers? They deserve to be promoted! We need more dancers like them!

One portion of the song has abusive lyrics, we do not have western culture and should not follow them 'glamorizing' this language. Further, it was mostly 'personal vendetta' and would have better if most of the part was covered for the cause itself.

Mr. Ali Gul Pir--PLEASE--do not appear in photos smoking anything! Your mission is destroyed by the smoke!
