We've all been waiting on Zindagi Tamasha ever since the first teaser dropped and after the trailer, we're all hyped up.

Model Ali Kureshi is also making his acting debut in the film and speaking to Images, he opened up about his character.

Kureshi said, "My character is Danish, he lives in Lahore and belongs to a middle-class family and he’s a very loving, kind and supportive husband."

"Something happens in my wife Sadaf's family and he supports her and her family throughout the movie. The story is about a Lahori family and my father-in-law is a famous Naat Khwan and he does something which was not accepted by the society."

So how did Kureshi, who just walked the ramp during L'Oreal Paris Bridal Week a few days ago, nab the role of Danish?

"Sarmad saw my face on Facebook and he asked his team to contact me," revealed Ali. "I saw their message after a few days and shared my contact."

"I did audition for the role, they sent me a script that wasn't from the movie and I did it. They got in touch a week and a half later and let me know that Sarmad wants to meet me. He told me I was good for the character and narrated the story of his film."

Sarmad Khoosat's second directorial has been written by Nirmal Bano and produced by Kanwal Khoosat.

Added Kureshi, "Working for Sarmad and Khoosat films was a great experience for me, and as you know I’ve been doing modeling for the last four years. Acting and modelling are two very different things and it was the first time I acted in front of a camera [but] they taught me how to act and how to deliver dialogues. I learnt a lot and all I can say is I thank them for showing immense trust in me."

There is no release date for Zindagi Tamasha as of yet but Ali Kureshi claims it will be out in a few months.
