Pakistan may have lost the cricket match but their trolls won Twitter, says Swara Bhasker

The woman's got a point; 'na Partition hoti, na hum zaleel hotay' is pure gold.
18 Jun, 2019

Pakistan played India in the World Cup earlier this Sunday and lost, but we got by with a little help from Twitter which provided some much-needed comic relief to our wounds.

Even Swara Bhasker had to give us a shout-out, sharing that we may have lost the match but we reign supreme on Twitter:

Bhasker knows what's up: Pakistani sports humour > Indian humour:

Last year, the Veere Di Wedding actress had come under fire for calling Pakistan "a failing state"; she addressed those comments once again on her social media saying "a state and a government is different from the people, the land, the culture":

See, cricket always brings people together!

Well Pakistanis do excel at trolling. Definetely in the top 5. We cant fight corruption, speak up for victims, stand by truth, fight for justice or treat women as equals. But trolling, that we can. Yup!

We the Pakistanis take cricket as play, and we always adhered to sportman spirit. Some Indians not all, take cricket too much on heads, minds,& thoughts, that’s certainly is a disorder of mind’s health. At the moment we are thinking about next match with optimism.

My comments are independent and sincere about my own nation that "we are very warm heart people. We forget and forgive. We do not let hatred flourish for a long time. We love our country just like any other nation" But, in India some politicians just win by creating hatred and dislike about Pakistan. Can one imagin if we have no Pakistan and we have to live among 200 millions Hindus?

Good cricket by India. But, there is always tomorrow in game. Look at the Black Hurricane of West Indies, of the early days of WC and today,

I was always myself a big fan of how indians handled situations more patiently and intelligently. However this time around, it's quite amusing how Pakistan has dealt skirmish after skirmish with India, post IK takeover, with much more patience, imagination and humor. Kudos to my countrymen!

Its beyond doubt that Pakistan & India r two sovereign nation. Let the game as a sport where politics has no space. Wise people respect sentiments of each other. Win & lose in a game b accepted with sportsman spirit.

I as like most Indians like to love Pakistanis but unresolved issues including border disputes with Pakistan which seem not get resolved anytime soon, cannot bring the two countries together. The disputes will remain and we cannot love each other.

It's a matter of fact that I am pakistani.  Come and say this to my face, boy.  I ll show you your my colours. Do you feel so intimidated by my views that you must now stoop to character assassination? Next time bring some opinions about the article topic on the table. Leave the personal attacks at the door. " personal attack; the last refuge of someone with nothing to say". bhaRAT has nothing to say.

You see all Pakistanis must share the ssmegbopinion otherwise you can not possible be Pakistani. Another thing I didn't know. Like I said you are waging your time. We lost. It's shameful only because our team was so clearly out of shape and unfit. I think with a younger and fit team we could have kicked some a.. for sure. Congrats on your win. We'll get you guys next time.
