Ali Sethi's latest music video Ishq is a visual treat

The singer bares his soul in this heart warming track about a love reborn.
Updated 09 Jun, 2019

Trust Ali Sethi to think outside the box.

The singer's latest offering Ishq is nothing short of a visual treat. Against a backdrop of singers in monochrome, Ali Sethi bares his soul in this heart warming song about finding love again.

From torch bearers surrounding Sethi to classical dancers standing amid the stars, we get a feel of Sethi's state of mind, complemented by his sweet, soft vocals.

The music has been composed by the multi-Grammy-award-winning producer Noah Georgeson, who Sethi has previously worked with in Chandnii Raat.

Has strong resemblance to Hindustani classical music tunes and melody. Inspite of a few errors in the pitch / tones, the effort is laudable.

I must say he is a fresh breath for the classical. I must also admit that I was prejudiced earlier and felt he is here carrying the wings from parents. But he proves to be talented to conquer on his own. He is becoming my go to music in car house and to bind me to my culture language and folklore.

He should stop singing sad songs. People want happy, masala songs. Life is short.
