Kubra Khan wants you to stop being hangry this Ramazan

Kubra Khan has an important message for all those who fast and that is to calm down.

The actor took to Instagram to call out the problematic behaviour of many who fast but lose their temper.

"A polite reminder. We don't fast to benefit any other person. We fast for ourselves and our Allah. We don't have the right to lash out at people just because our hunger made us cranky," she wrote.

Also read: Are you outraged when people behave badly in Ramazan? You shouldn't be

"Allah does not want your hunger in Ramazan. Ramazan is about sabr. Patience. Appreciation. If you’re going to fast in the name of your lord and act like you’re righteous and belittle or throw shades on others, maybe you should reconsider why you’re fasting. At the end, we’re all human. We all have flaws. Least we can do is try.. to be a better version of ourselves. Be kind people. Be patient. Have sabr with people around you, have sabr and be kind to your parents, your friends, your co workers, your neighbours."

We can't deny that Kubra makes a good point about people being quick to lose their cool in Ramazan, forgetting the true purpose of keeping a fast. It's about time people pay heed.

Those comments were 'straight from the shoulder'. We should all, especially the rozdars, realize the truth in what she says, and try to emulate, and imbibe the sanctity of the holy month, which is truly meant for patience and abstinence, and not for display and exhibitionism.
