Adnan Malik hints that Cake is coming to Netflix soon

If you missed the family drama in cinemas, you can watch it in bed now.

If you missed Asim Abbasi's directorial debut Cake in cinemas, fret not, you can watch it in the comfort of your own home now.

And if you did happen to catch it in theaters, you know it's one you want to watch over and over again.

The filmmaker, who also wrote the flick has hinted that the movie might be coming to Netflix sooner than you think, like in less than two weeks:

Set in Karachi, Cake follows the lives of two sisters, one of whom lives abroad and the other is ‘left’ behind. Burdened with guilt and resentments, the sisters confront old secrets and realize that sometimes the only way for a family to move on, is by finding a way back. The film stars Sanam Saeed, Aamina Sheikh and Adnan Malik in pivotal roles.

Malik also more or less confirmed Asim's tweet:

Cake was also Pakistan’s nominee for the Oscars foreign-language category this year so you know it's worth a watch.
