John Cena set to star in Jason Bateman's action comedy for Netflix
Looks like we'll all be seeing John Cena a lot more soon.
After playing villain Jack Burns in Bumblebee, the WWE Superstar is set to join Jason Bateman for an upcoming Netflix action comedy directed by Bateman himself.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the yet to be titled project will also be the reunion of Bateman with Game Night writer Mark Perez. The project itself will have several similarities to Game Night, with sources revealing that the plot will revolve around a family that gets stuck inside an abandoned movie studio where the sets come to life.
Jason Bateman will be starring in the film alongside John Cena in the flick, which will also be produced by him alongside Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum.
John Cena will also be seen in a family comedy Playing with Fire that will begin shooting in February.
