Trailer for Rihanna and Childish Gambino's movie leaked online
Rihanna is set to star alongside Donald Glover's alter ego Childish Gambino in an upcoming movie and the trailer has made its way online.
The film, reportedly named Guava Island, had its trailer premiere at the Pharos festival in New Zealand and an attendee recorded and uploaded it all on social media.
Glover's Gambino and Rihanna play a couple in Guava Island and from his dialogue, "We live in paradise but none of us actually have the time or the means to live here," we can tell this film will tackle some of the issues Childish Gambino talks about while celebrating black culture.
This will be the first time Donald Glover will be acting as his alter ego Childish Gambino, a character he usually uses for his musical works.
Apart from Gambino and Rihanna, the trailer also shows Letitia Wright of Black Panther fame as a part of the cast.
The film's official release date is not yet known.
