Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan are reuniting on television
Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan are quite the dream team.
After appearing together in Hum TV's Diyar-e-Dil as well as killing it on the big screen in Parchi, the duo is back for another Hum TV play called Main Khayal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka.
Talking to Images about her character, Farooq explains: "I'll be playing Dania, a woman who's in love with this man, Zaryab but is forced to marry the guy of her father’s choice. She is a simple girl who gets entangled in a lot of emotions and complications."
Expanding on the plot, she reveals, "Main Khayal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka is a romantic-drama which highlights the sacrifices we make for love, a broken relationship, a weak man tied by societal pressures, a suffering woman who takes the bait, an oblivious individual who at first breaks them up only to bring them together and then having change of intentions."
Ali Rehman Khan, who plays Zaryab says that his "character is very kind, decent and a complete gentleman. Zaryab sacrifices his love for his family and especially for his brother, Arman. The drama is a rollercoaster!"
The cast also includes Alamdar Hussain and Rucksar Naz (from the fame of browngirlproblem1), two people making their debut through this project, something Hareem is excited about.
"We believe in introducing new faces and giving talent a solid platform here at IRK films. It's been a great working experience; the old actors have already been friends but even with the new ones, we all have been working as a family," shares the Dobara Phir Se actress.
Main Khayal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka is being directed by Emraan Kaleem Mallick and has been written by Shabana Ghulam Nabi. It consists of 25 episodes and will go on air after Eid.
