Twitter turns savage as Imran Khan breaks silence on third marriage

The PTI Chairman took to Twitter to clarify the whole ordeal and received immense backlash

If you're Imran Khan and there's talk of marriage, you know you're in trouble.

It's been four days since news of the PTI Chairman's 'secret' third marriage made headlines. Finally IK broke silence on his rumoured marriage to faith healer Bushra Maneka. He took to Twitter and clarified the whole ordeal in a series of tweets.

Khan called out the "vicious, gutter media campaign" and claimed it all a hoax formed by Nawaz Sharif. He claimed this strengthens his will to fight against them.

All he hopes for is to "find personal happiness which, except for a few years, I have been deprived of."

You'd think this would put an end to the matter but of course, Twitter was only just getting started. People were quick to respond to the clarification. Here's what everyone's saying:

This show how sick mentality we have. The matter is not that of IK, this is much more for other party who is a mother of 5 children.

When you are a public figure then all is fair. It is media's job to come up with news that people have interest in so that they can sell, if people are not interested in the news then the news media will ignore it. IK is a mega celebrity in Pak like the British royals and everything related to IK sells just like British royals, so it is not the media's fault they are just doing their job. Additionally, there is nothing wrong with getting married or sending proposal to someone. It is what it is and if IK doesn't make a big deal about it then no one else will either because for general public they are just interested in everything IK does. He is their idol. People love him and they just want to know who is IK marrying. What's wrong with it?

Give the guy a break, he has the right to live his personal life. Sad to read Cyril's tweet , its really fortunate when educated people talk non sense. I mean are people blond to the smear campaign thats running in the media or are we suggesting that people above 60 are not allowed to pursue legal companionship or seek happiness?

Regarding Imran and Reham marriage, it might be first time that fake nikah is done months afer the actual nikah. Also telling your wife, wife relatives, own firends and relative to keep nikah secrect sounds bit strange. todate, question remained unanswered why the nkah kept secret. Now again there is rumor of secret nikah again. If some thing strange or anything never heard of before happens then discussion will be there.

Imran khan marriage is not a big deal! The crime will be if the same polticians are allowed to become pm,to direct deposit pak aid money in their own bank account ! Lastly, ,have you discover ,the number of your polticians have multiple wives ,that are younger then their grown kids!
