Malala Yousafzai is working on her first children's book.

The 20-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner will soon publish a picture book titled 'Malala's Magic Pencil' which she hopes will inspire young readers all over the world.

She gave a glimpse of her upcoming book on Twitter.

While Malala has penned down the story, the illustrations have been done by Kerascoët. And it looks like the book already has its first reader!

According to US trade publisher Hachette Book Group, the book will be available on October 17. The book is inspired from Malala's own childhood.

A synopsis for the book reads, "As a child in Pakistan, Malala made a wish for a magic pencil. She would use it to make everyone happy, to erase the smell of garbage from her city, to sleep an extra hour in the morning. But as she grew older, Malala saw that there were more important things to wish for. She saw a world that needed fixing. And even if she never found a magic pencil, Malala realized that she could still work hard every day to make her wishes come true."

Malala hopes to have her story told to younger audiences as it has an important message about hope.

We can't wait for Malala's book to be out and hope that it inspires young readers!
