Really funny choices of award. Real achievers with much better movies and way much better acting missed out because they are Actors and not Crowd pulling glamour celebrities. Categories must have been Best male/female celebrity in Leading role. Such pathetic judgement and awards keep pulling down Real Cinema talents and Real Actors. Bollywood really needs to raise its standard in Award judging.

Every award was well deserved. Pink, Udta Punjab etc. Only the best movie category should have been won by Dangal. No idea why it wasn't in the list.

What about an award for Pakistanis for best audience? You have excluded us from every other possible category.

Funny the obsession for Bollywood aka Hindi films is for real! But it's oxymoronic how y'all criticise it in one ahand and hen drool over the awards in another! Sort your own industry! Sic

@Sadaf " Why do they do that in other countries" - National award, Guild awards etc are done locally. IIFA stands for "international" Indian film academy award. It's done in Foriegn countries where ever Bollywood has a big market. It's done to celebrate its success and connect with its NRI and foriegn fans there in that country and increase base.

@jawwad " What about Pakistanis for best audience. You have excluded us from every possible category". Awards are based on last year hits. There was only one movie last year "Kapoor and sons" that had a Pakistani actor. Kapoor and Sons won for best music and story. Rest category Pink, Udta punjab, Neerja, Airlift where serious topics and better contenders.

@SMJ "Pulling down real actors". All well deserved movies and actors got the awards. Watch Pink, Udta Punjab movies first then comment.

@Priyanka You should watch Aligarh, Parched, Raman Raghav 2.0, Nil battey sannata, Buddha in traffic jam, Salaa khadoos, many more deserving movies to see for yourself the authenticity of awards. Infact Pink should have won more awards especially in acting categories. Manoj Bajpai, Ritika Singh, Swara Bhaskar, Arunoday Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Radhika Apte are few to name who were much more deserving than some of the glamorous names which won. Fawad Khan should have been judged purely for his acting.

I have not seen any of these movies and frankly don´t care for Bollywood at all. Most educated people do not even tell if they even watched a Bollywood movie.
