Are Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar really swapping the bat and ball for a couple of gandasas? Looks like it.

Photographs of the two cricket superstars in the garb of Maula Jatt and his arch-nemesis Noori Jatt from the 1979 Punjabi action flick have gone viral — and it turns out that it's all in the name of Ramazan entertainment!

A source at Geo TV confirmed to Images that Shoaib and Wasim will be hosting a game show as Maula Jutt and Noori Nath for the channel's upcoming Ramazan transmission. The show is titled Geo Khelo Pakistan.

The duo appears to be spending a lotta time in character:

Wasim's wife Shaniera is clearly not too pleased with the transformation!

The full promo of Geo Khelo Pakistan reveals that the duo will be joined by a bunch of other celebs, including Bushra Ansari and Noman Ijaz, on the show.

This may be one happening show and it's one that we'll keep an eye out for.

Good direction. Although a game show in Ramadan? I hope it doesnt turn in to the cheap game shows that ran last time by Geo.

What does this have any relevance to Ramzan? Why so much commercialisation of a holy month? One side we complain that media doesn't highlight our own festivals and celebrations but I for one don't appreciate Ramzan, eid, Muharram, Milad ul Nabi, etc all becoming money making schemes by media. I'd rather them celebrate Christmas, Mother's Day or valentines on TV than mock the holy month... sad state of affairs

Honestly,I'm not shocked. These days anything from Pakistani cricket players doesn't shock you anymore.
