Saba Qamar and Irrfan Khan's Hindi Medium will release on May 12

A new poster, which announces the release date, also gives us a sense of what Saba's Bollywood debut film is all about

Saba Qamar and Irrfan Khan-starrer Hindi Medium will release on May 12, but that's not all the film's new poster has revealed.

The poster hints that Hindi Medium will be a comment on elitism in schools.

The poster features a man's feet, one clad in a torn sandal and the other in a well-polished dress shoe. The tagline reads as 'Cheating, lying. The parents who will do anything to get their children into the right school.'

The poster thus connotes the importance of appearances and giving the illusion of wealth and a well-to-do lifestyle.

The comedy film has previously been reported to be about a couple in Chandni Chowk "who want to move into Delhi's upper crust". Guess they have their children's best interests in mind during this pursuit?
