Even Bilawal Bhutto Zardari can't escape the question of marriage.

During a meet with reporters, the child prodigy boasted about his achievements thus far and said he hopes to learn all the languages spoken in Pakistan - in other words, it was all smooth sailing, until an enterprising reporter pounced on him with a question on marriage proposals.

Err.. awkward.

Here's how the exchange took place:

Reporter: "Have you received any marriage offers?"

Bilawal (breaking into an awkward smile): "I have lots of offers! I have lots of offers! But whichever girl decides to marry me, she will have to explain to both my sisters that this will be a very, very difficult task."

This, ladies and gentlemen, is when the PPP star breaks into a sweat, starts rubbing his eyebrows and loses coherence. We almost feel sorry for him. Almostttt.

Bilawal: "I know that my sisters... lovely, lovely, beautiful, beautiful girls, I love them a lot."

Psst, notice Qaim Ali Shah smiling and nodding his head at the back thinking, 'Payback!'

At this point Bilawal starts scratching his ear, trying not to make eye contact and secretly hoping the earth swallows him whole (we know the feeling, Bilawal, we know).

Bilawal: "But it'll be a very difficult task for the girl..."

And here's when he decides he's got to step up his game and waves his finger around to seem like he's got this question down.

Bilawal: "But whichever girl is successful in this task, that means it's her fate and my fate [to be together]."

Add lots of awkward laughs and a blushing Bilawal.

We're guessing he's not used to this. Perhaps someone can coach him on how to answer these questions better, because if this question is causing him so much anxiety then we wonder how he dealt with those 'many' proposals.

How can this guy even be qualified to become PM of Pakistan in the future? This system of kids ready after parents has to stop. Billions looted by his father and PMLN now same money injected to win Sindh. Pakistan first.

it is quite strange that he has received many marriage offers. because in our society generally it is men who propose and girls receive the offers. not the other way round . or did it happen like this in his situation ?

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has a charm; Why should he be denied for what his father did? Consider him as a candidate for a future P.M.

@a secret admirer Nope. It's very common now to send a proposal. Nothing wrong, especially if you live in Arab countries. Girls and women who are interested will send you proposal.

People who ask questions about when someone will be married are extremely rude. They should learn to respect others PERSONAL boundaries. Those who feel Bilawal isn't competent enough to become PM of Pakistan should step up and set up their own political parties to become PM or shut up. Fact of the matter is that people are more interested in getting their children married rather than making them PM of Pakistan . God bless America!

@Fahad - What "words of wisdom and thoughts" do you see here? He is putting conditions on his wife in a typical 'desi-shtyle', despite having lived in the West all his life. What about his wife should expect of him and how would he treat her? The mindset of royal hierarchy with just a grin and a wave doesn't win you elections!

@a secret admirer No, Men also get marriage offers. Parents of Girls do look for suitable Men. And Bilawal is a Golden Goose, he would have marriage offers in the 100s if not 1000s.

Jawan ladke se poochke phir bata raha hai ki woh sharmagaya. Such a crooked report . Any guy in this world who has some flesh and blood in his heart will struggle with such an unexpected question at a completely inappropriate stage. Leave the kid, let him enjoy his life. He will not be PM unless you elect , so stop worrying about it. And he is not to be blamed for his fathers mistake . And its every guys duty to support his family. Have a life despo reporters.
