Gone are the days when face-stuffing mangoes and giving away babies on live TV got us riled up.

After this year's inanities on Ramazan transmissions, we think nothing will surprise us anymore... or at least, we hope not.

Here's a roundup of the 5 super-strangest TV moments this year:

1) Aamir Liaquat discovers #TongueOutTuesday

2) Aamir Liaquat gets cosy... with a pole?!

3) This woman thinks Mamnoon Hussain is an army hotshot, aka, Raheel Sharif

(He's the President of Pakistan, btw.)

4) This brave lady picked up a crocodile with her bare hands, and sends Waqar Zaka into a panic!

Cue: "Apa, noooo!"

5) Aamir Liaquat enacts his own death in this Ramazan song video:

Scholar Dr. Aamir Liaquat is the true rock star. Pakistani media would not have been the same without him.

What a pity that this is what the holy month of ramazan has become thanks to our media channels that have turned it into a month for donating babies, holding game shows for mango eating, cake stuffing, singing, suicide reenactments and what not - all for the sake of ratings, and nobody raises their voice against them. What exactly are they trying to portray to the masses about ramazan through these special transmissions? There's no spirituality, prayers, alms giving, or humble deeds in these programs. Sad!

Aamir act was totally a stupid one. People had doubts about his religious show but he himself proved to ba a quack. Some of these guys are rich and they can have even their bad show running for they can afford. Someone will correct him.

This guy has hidden agenda in his mind. The sober people could not appreciate in any way, what he is saying these days.Pemra was right to punish him for his cheap tactics to gain ratings.

The only channel that should be airing during ramazan is hum TV. With its strong social message in udhaari. Ban the rest

Have not watched live TV in Pakistan for a couple of decades. Didn't know how humiliating has the media become. Am I the only one who is shocked at these vulgarities? If this is the entertainment for the people who reach for their blasphemy pistols at every little thing, I am totally speechles why they don't see the obvious humiliating mindset of the anchors and the show-concepts? An this all in a month which is supposed to be an exercise in abstinece. That moral dichotomy has gone that far really shocked me. But provided me some answers to otherwise inexplicable insensitivities I come across on my short visits to Pakistan.....

1) "Dr." Aamir Liaquat ist a fake Doctor with a fake degree from the fake Axact university. 2) He incited the killings of religious minorities 3) When his embarrassing backstage videos went viral, he first claimed it was a conspiracy by other TV channels and a religious minority. 1 year later in an interview with the NY Times, he admitted it was him (original word in the article “It was my lighter side,”) source: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/01/world/asia/a-star-televangelist-in-pakistan-divides-then-repents.html?_r=0 How can someone take this guy seriously? He is an entertainer, wannabe rock star, not a scholar and definitely not a doctor...

@Mubashir Regardless - It doesn't make any sense! It's like showing a student leaving home to write an exam with the question paper in his/her hand!
