Anoushey's new show promises to unlock Pakistan's best food spots

Ashraf and VJ Shahzad go all over Pakistan looking for the best food spots of the country.
Updated 03 Oct, 2015

Ever wondered where we get the yummiest karahi in the country? Or the most delicious kebabs? Well, fret no more; Anoushey Ashraf is here to answer all your food queries once and for all.

The suave television host, alongside VJ Shahzad, will be hosting the upcoming show, The Asal Foodies Show, which is set to premiere tonight.

The duo will be heading to a handful of cities, accompanied by a different celeb each time in search of the best kept gastronomy secrets of the country.

If Ashraf's behind the scenes Instagram videos are any indication, it looks like they've been having a ball shooting it and we're going to enjoy watching it.

Looks like the gang was joined by Sarwat Gillani while they visited popular food joints in Karachi.

Because the one who takes the selfie ALWAYS has the biggest face! #BeingAnoushey #ManaLoFoodKaLove #work #endofDaytwo

And they have no qualms about goofing around.

#ManaLoFoodKaLove fun at shoot. Being silly, being us #AsalFoodies happening now! @sarwatg @shahzadkhanworld

The other place on the itinerary was Lahore.

There, Noori's Ali Hamza was their guide and companion.

Next stop? Multan!

Actor Ali Safina takes his pals around his hometown.

Don't we all wish we could switch places with Ashraf? After all, what's better than good food and good friends?

There is no doubt that Pakistani cuisine is one of the best cuisines in the world. Scandinavians are known for bland cuisine but even my Scandinavian friends crave for Pakistani barbecue.
