A tragedy, millions of people left their homes and traveled to the other side of the borders in Pakistan. Many even could not make it and brutally murdered in India. The rivers Sutlug and Bias in Punjab, turned red with the blood of Muslim migrants. Many young girls were snatched from their parents, raped and killed. The horrors of partition cannot be erased from the minds of that generation who witnessed that bloodshed. The lifes of Muslims who are left behind are at stake in India. I don’t know what is going to happen with them in the future?

The world needs to see the painful past of division. Muslims in India are again mistreated by Indian Rulers and their contribution to the country ignored.
