Actor Uzma Khan files complaint against group of women for instigating violence, FIR registered

In a video of the incident a woman can be heard yelling and accusing the actor for allegedly having an affair with one Usman.
Updated 28 May, 2020

Actor Uzma Khan on Thursday filed a complaint against women whom she claimed were the daughters of business tycoon Malik Riaz after the women allegedly broke into her house with gunmen and instigated violence.

"I have been shamed, harassed, been threatened to kill in the past 3 days. I feel like I have nothing to lose now and I have decided to fight the strongest people of Pakistan," she said in a statement. "For me it is either I get justice or I get killed but there will be no turning back now."

"I will fight against daughters... of Malik Riaz who stormed into my house around midnight with 12 gunmen. I request the police to register my FIR and conduct me and my sister's medical examination before our wounds start to heal. I hope I am as much Pakistani as Malik Riaz."

Uzma's statement came hours after a video circulating on social media showed the distraught looking actor and her sister being yelled at by a group of women.

In the video can be heard a woman yelling and accusing the actor for allegedly having an affair with one Usman.

The guards were then seen groping, harassing and surrounding the actor, while one of the women can be seen beating her with a shoe, all while throwing decorative items made of glass at Uzma.

(Trigger warning: harassment)

Another video showed the actor's living space, which had allegedly been vandalised. Traces of blood could be seen on the floor.

The actor took to social media with her police complaint number, and requested that a medical examination be urgently conducted of her and her sister.

Soon after Uzma's statement, a woman Amna Usman, who called herself wife of the said Usman, issued a video statement, claiming that her husband Usman Malik was not related to Malik Riaz.

"Firstly, I'd like to add that my husband, Usman Malik has nothing to do with Malik Riaz Hussain, he's not a part of his immediate family. This is being done to malign Malik Riaz; this is a personal spat between Hassaan Khan Niazi and Malik Riaz Hussain."

She went on to add: "As far as barging into someone's home is concerned, this was not their house. This was my husband's other house which I followed him to so basically this was my husband's home and I have every right to be there. I repeatedly warned this girl to save my 13-year-long marriage. This was not the first time I approached her."

She then went on to say that she is aware that her husband is to be blamed the most and that she has left him.

Lahore's Capital City Police Officer Zulfiqar Hameed confirmed receiving a complaint from the actor, following which an FIR was registered later in the night.

Malik Riaz has also denied all involvement.

"I categorically rebut this malicious propaganda associating me with a viral video. Usman is not my nephew. I'm appalled at such below the belt attempt to malign me for something I'm not involved in any capacity," he said.

He also threatened to file a defamation lawsuit against anyone trying to "wrongfully implicate" him.

"Yeh to hona hi tha is tarah ke kamon mein", what else could you expect while sleeping with somebody else's husband. Not a very lawful act but it happens every day here in the West too. Do not malign her just because she is the daughter of Malik Riaz. The actresses were in her house with her husband. Now what I still want to know is that what did she do to her own husband.

The woman should keep her husband in order instead of blaming the other woman. Obviously the man has provided the actress with a house to live in so he must be in a serious relationship with her. What they do inside that is a matter for them. There is no justification for the wife to violate their privacy. If she really did want to save her marriage she would not be posting videos on YouTube out of revenge. Hell has no fury like a woman scorned.

I fully support the woman who stormed the house - it is HER OWN HOUSE - NO WAY anyone should support the actress Uzma Khan. She is a low character in this whole episode. All Mothers, sisters, should support both the daughters of Malik Riaz. Note that i personally not in favor of Malik Riaz and may also be affected by his financial ventures (negatively) - but in this case - I fully support his daughters. This actress - Uzma Khan is the one - who should be prosecuted and punished - for doing what she was doing - breaking someone's home

Crime is committed we saw it on news. Police does not need to always wait for court orders. FIR has been filed the police should go in arrest and book these women for trespassing, destroying property, assault and Battery right away. Let the law be similar for all people. If Malik Riaz daughters did this in USA or UK they would already be behind bars.

When a wife loved someone from the bottom of her heart and do anything and everything to safe her marriage the outcome will be very similar. Let's flip the coin, what if the other party (Mrs. Usaman) were doing drugs, sleeping with others? The outcome would have been either murdered or dragged in the bazar without clothes. The sad part of our society/culture, man can walk around and get away with anything and everything but women?

Arrest the guilty part and ensure that the punishment meted out is commensurate with the crime committed. The law should apply equally to all parties for once whether they are poor or relatives of a rich tycoon or belong to a political dynasty.

There are several aspects. One famous actress lost an eye during similar event. The victim in an abusive relationship has to speak up. The men and other women are abusing and taking advantage of weak laws. Simply lying and cheating. Drinking and live in ! Rules only for seedhe log. In divorce husband has nothing to loose. Khaya , peeya , hath dhoya , chal diya. The other part of it is there is corruption and rely on rich people to sponsor and survive. At the end gets manipulated. If industry is professional and regulator strong they will focus more on work than these activities.

Here's the thing. You have a problem with somebody, take it to court. Use the law. You don't storm a house, any house, with guards and more women friends and then start trashing the place, burning things, beating your opponents and use the filthiest vile language even encouraging males present to touch them. I wish she would have use the same energy on rearing her husband. How many girls will she eat up instead to keep him to herself? What is happening to this country? Seriously? Law and order?

It is easy to judge and to put lubricous accusations against someone. But when you see the coin from both the sides, You will get to know that there is a reason behind the taken stern action. This is havoc when a lady come to know that her husband is with other person, which obviously resulted an aggressive reaction. But I completely agree, to grab the law into hands should not be done.
