Faysal Quraishi and Iman Ali are pairing up for a web series called Baadshah Begum
Faysal Quraishi's is trying out a new medium; the actor will be appearing in a web series!
He'll be teaming up with Iman Ali for the Rafay Rashidi production, Baadshah Begum. Talking to Images about it, Faisal reveals, "We're in the initial stage right now. Working on the script and the characters, lots of other things. I'm very excited, Iman and I are working together for the first time. The cast also includes Gohar Rasheed and Imran Ashraf."
"We've been in talks for a while and now that it's been announced and is properly happening, we're all on board and happy," he added.
Baadshah Begum is about sibling rivalry – and power struggles within a family and community. The plot revolves around themes of inheritance, family politics, gender inequality and male dominance. Quraishi's character will be playing the arch villain in the story, which has been written by Saji Gul of O Rangreza fame.
The series will tentatively come out some time after October but no release date has been revealed yet.
