Sonam Kapoor says she has no time for Cannes prep, still shows up in a showstopping sari
Sonam's first look at Cannes was a total win
Sonam Kapoor said she really didn't have time to "prepare much" for this year's Cannes fest, but then she surprised us with this head-turning, colour-changing sari and a white sporty blouse.
The Shimma Sari by Indian label Nor Black Nor White was "hand dyed by local artisans in a wave of iridescent magic", according to its young, hip designers.
The sari is typically paired with a white mesh net blouse; a cotton lycra sports bra comes with the sari. Sonam did well to keep to the designers' vision for the sari.
The sari is a modern spin on traditional Indian craft, so Sonam's reppin' the homeland pretty well.
Wish we could all look this good without planning! Guess it's good to have a stylist sister by your side.
