Thank you for the love Pakistan, says Ertugrul cast

Looks like Ertugrul and friends can't wait to visit their Pakistani audience!

Turkish drama Dirilis Ertugrul has not only been a hit in Pakistan, but the Urdu dubbed version has racked up record breaking views on YouTube.

This news did not go unnoticed by the cast of the hit series which couldn't resist thanking their Pakistani audience and made sure to send lots of love their way!

Esra Bilgic had previously replied to some Pakistani fans who had commented positively on her Instagram posts, thanking them for the love and admiration:

Engin Altan Düzyatan who plays lead Ertugrul also shared the happy news, thanking everyone for the following and expressed a desire to visit Pakistan.

Another actor from the cast to notice the growing Pakistani fan following is Cengiz Coskun who plays Turgut in the series.

Gulsim Ali also took to Instagram to write a lovely thank you note along with an adorable "Pakistan, Pakistan cive Pakistan."

We have a feeling there's going to be a Dirilis Ertugrul meetup in Pakistan once this pandemic subsides! Because from the looks of it, they should, shouldn't they? Anoushey Ashraf thinks so!

Pakistani culture is not threatened when Pakistanis watch Game of thrones , American movies and shows on Netflix In fact it’s encouraged by libreals but now Pakistani culture will be threatened If we watch an Islamic Turkish serial to learn about Islamic etiquette as stated by PM Imran Khan. Hypocrisy of some people is just mind boggling.

I loved the movie Resurrection. Thank you for the English subtitles. I laughed and cried. All of thg he actors were remarkable. I learned so much history. I wish all movies were educational. From USA. I missed the real kissing etc. LOL

I binge watched this a few months ago (UK) absolutely loved it and telling everyone I know about it. I loved the way it was portrayed. Was so much better than anything I've seen. Fantastic values and interpretation. I love anything based on historical facts but this left me wanting more. It made me want to learn more about the Ottoman Empire and any historical dramas connected to that era. The women are strong and played perfectly. Could watch it all again but I need to wait and live my own life first. I really want to learn the language. My mother loved Turkey when she visited about 12 years ago. So many characters and flavours. Fantastic.

Turkish actors in this serial have done an amazing job. Pakistani actors should consider working with them collaboratively. I hope some day there be visa free entry for Turkish and Pakistan for their citizens for trade and cultural exchange.

All over i liked the drsma alot.m really fond of watching turkish dramas n hv seen many but this drama made such a deep impact that i loved each n every 1 in it.the setup the title music the cast like turgut engin esrs .lots of love for them.infect i learned some turkish with these drsmas.i wish that if one day i can meet and get an autogeaph my dream come true.this series inspired me with the history too.

I am seven years old and I am a big big fan of the whole cast specially Esra Bilgic. I patiently wait for every new episode. I hold a sword every time in my hand, previously captain America and Ironman were my heroes but now I want to be Ertugrul the Islamic hero. Thank you for showing me the Islamic proud history. Not only me but whole Pakistan loves and enjoy Ertugrul drama . Even our young brothers and sisters talk of Ertugrul characters with love and pride . It has been a great motivation and ressuraction for all Pakistani people from streets of small town to capital all Pakistani remember and talk day and night mostly on Ertugrul drama. If casts really come to Pakistan. Streets will be filled by Pakistani fans and People . Mark my words here that there won't even be space to stand in streets if cast comes to Pakistan. @Zak there is no ancestral link between Pakistanis and Turks. The two are seperate groups ethnically. Pakistanis are not mixed with Turks or Arabs. We are desi and south Asian. Kindly study Pakistans history both after and before the partition. Do you speak Turkish? No. Do you practise Turkish culture? Food? Dress? No. Yes our region has come under the rule of many foreign empires but that doesn't mean the empires went out and mixed with the locals, as much as you seem to think. You should study dna and history to full understand tgis. You are Pakistani who has south Asian ethnicity. Irsdo erse and vibrant units own way. But you are not Turkish, Arab, Iranian, Mongolian or other. They have distinct features even down to skin tone which differs from South Asian. Kindly enjoy this drama for what it is. Don't claim other people's heritage or ethnicity. Explore your own lineage and study history. You will find things you can be proud of in your pakistani background.
