Meera sends a shout-out to Pakistan cricket team ahead of Asia Cup match against India
Cricket fans in Pakistan and India will be glued to the TV screens as the two rival teams face off at the Asia Cup match in Dubai today.
And actor Meera is definitely excited. Taking to Twitter, the Hotal star sent a shout-out to the team, singling out team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and star players Fakhar Zaman and M. Amir for a special mention.
"I am praying for Pakistan cricket team," she said. "The team is very good and motivated. My best wishes to all Pakistani players."
This isn't the first time that Meera's sent good vibes to the team before an important match.
When Pakistan was going to play their first match in the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 championship, she offered advice to then captain Shahid Afridi: "Don't give into pressure, give the pressure."
The PakvsInd Asia Cup match at 4.30pm today.
