Padman's release pushed back due to clash with Padmaavat
According to reports Sanjay Leela Bhansali held a meeting with Akshay Kumar in relation to their film's release date

Padmaavat will finally see a solo release.
Reportedly, Sanjay Leela Bhansali met with Akshay Kumar to discuss their box office clash and the final decision has been to push Padman's release date to Feb 9.
Padmaavat stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in titular roles and has caused furor among Rajput groups across the border. After a number of hurdles and controversies the film will finally release on Jan 25 on India's Republic Day and enjoy a solo weekend release.
