Marvel has been on top of its game with its superhero movies, but let's be honest: they had not been able to get Spiderman right.

Until Captain America: Civil War, that is.

Tom Holland's performance in Civil War won everyone's hearts, from critics to fans to comic book snobs, with everyone agreeing that "It's about time this Spidey gets his own flick!"

Sony's Columbia Productions and Marvel Studios have recently launched the trailer for Spiderman: Homecoming and it looks like Marvel is finally doing justice to our beloved Spidey.

The movie takes place after Captain America: Civil War and has introduced a new villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Vulture (played by Michael Keaton). It shows Spiderman the way many Spidey fans remember him; a high school kid juggling normal teenage-hood with the life of a superhero. Robert Downey Jr. makes an appearance as Tony Stark and Disney icon Zendaya also stars. Perhaps she plays a love interest? We shall see.

The trailer itself promises the right balance of action and Tom Holland's quips, proving yet again he is the best choice for Peter Parker.

Spiderman: Homecoming is set for release in July 2017. One thing's for sure, we are excited for this one!
