Sharmeen doesn't miss the chance to network, all the while significantly adding to her hall of celebrity selfies!

Before Sharmeen makes her second trip to the Academy Awards, she's been hobnobbing with fellow nominees and other celebrity peoples at the Oscar luncheon that was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA yesterday.

As with all the super-cool shindigs she attends, Sharmeen didn't miss the chance to network with the who's who of showbiz and beyond, all the while significantly adding to her hall of celebrity selfies!

Here's who she's rubbed shoulders with:

And then there were a bunch of famous people we didn't quite recognise.

The Oscar luncheon hasn't been the only occasion where Sharmeen's hung out with her celeb friends. Here's some other moments from the star-studded timeline of her official Facebook page:

Dawn staff it is my request to you to do a cover story on all the victims that were featured in the movies of Miss Shirmeen Obaid. Because they were used as a ladder for her success and we never heard from them again. Also why the victims never accompanied her abroad for treatment?. And also how the domestic problems will be solved by telling these stories to the West. ?

@USMAN DAR She did not do the claim of solving problems at home. The photos have been taken from her Facebook page as stated above. We ALL should play our role in solving problems at home but in the process of doing so, we do not cease to live. She is an artist and she is doing what she does best! We as a nation should learn to appreciate instead of pointing finger at everyone. I am sure you would do the same if you had your feet in her shoes.

This lady believes more in self projection than to work honestly for the purpose she has been awarded. Ask any local or affected people.

Well done Sharmeen Obaid, you make Pakistan proud in projecting it's soft power. Sharmeen now that you have International Star Power, with donations of the Rich and Famous that you know, how about setting up a Training Academy for budding Pakistani directors ? or a Centre dedicated to the empowerment of future Pakistani Women in Leadership Roles ? Through the UN and Foreign Missions in Pakistan you could invite World Icons as Guest Speakers. Surely you can emulate Imran Khan and build something for Pakistan ?

@Hasan who cares for it? You can only get famous and rich if you pinpoint the sensitive issues of an ailing society which the west is most interested to listen.
