In case you missed it: Fawad officially joins Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's cast

With Imran Abbas also in the cast, the film will see two leading Pakistani actors work together
Updated 16 Oct, 2015

Looks like filmmakers in both Lollywood and Bollywood are on a lookout for "special" roles for our very own Fawad Khan — after Asim Raza signed Fawad for a cameo in Ho Mann Jahaan, Karan Johar welcomed Fawad in Paris for his brief scenes in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

The director, who is celebrating 17 years of the ever popular Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, announced on his Twitter account that Fawad has joined the cast with 'amazing energy'.

But Fawad isn't the only Pakistani face seen on the sets. Much earlier, Imran Abbas was spotted taking numerous selfies with Ranbir Kapoor.

Imran might be seen playing Anushka Sharma's love interest, although many are curious to know about the role of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who will be joining the crew in Vienna.

Marking the directorial comeback of Karan Johar after three years since Student of The Year, the ''timeless romance'' is currently being filmed. The love story might see Ranbir playing the role opposite Aishwarya as her love interest so one thing for sure, like K-Jo's previously flicks, there will be many lovestruck heroes. Only time will tell how the story will unfold!

It seems to me that the Bollywood producers currently favour buying Pakistani actors as they can be acquired relatively cheaply, and why not?

I seriously doubt if this exchange of actors between India and Pakistan has any impact on the relations between two countries. The bitterness, the suspicion, the bias remains where it is. It has no impact on Pakistan other than fattening the pockets of those who have gone to work in India.

@First things first And vice versa - no matter how minimal you think the amount is for those ad campaigns the Indian stars are recruited for.

@First things first What's wrong with earning money? You seem to use "fattening the pockets" as if it's a curse. There is no shame in making more than the average Joe. Being wealthy doesn't make one evil. @UnshacklePak

Isn't there an old Indian movie song "Ae dil hay mushkil geena yahan" ? What happened to originality? Can't come up with one.
