Another film, another item song: Sana puts on her dancing shoes for Hijrat

The film actress will be making a cameo in the upcoming flick

Well, well, well, if it isn't another movie that has jumped on the item number bandwagon.

A little birdie told us that Farouq Mengal's upcoming project, Hijrat, starring Rabia Butt, Asad Zaman, Rubab Ali, Nadeem Baig, Ayub Khouso, among others, will also feature an item song.

Sana Nawaz will be lacing up her dancing shoes and making a cameo in the movie for the song. "I'm super excited about performing this song and I'm actually loving the sound. I feel like I'm made for this because I'm purely filmy," shares the actress.

Choreography for the song, tentatively titled 'Chali Re Delhi Se Lahore', has been done by Hasan Rizvi from BodyBeats.

The upbeat track is catchy with a tempo and beat that are sure to get you tapping your feet. The main female singer has the raw, heavy voice that usually adds the earthy factor to any item song.

Mengal confirmed that Hijrat, releasing December 31, chronicles a romantic story with a love triangle. Model Rabia Butt is making a debut in the film, playing a doctor who practises at an Afghan refugee camp.
